Michele Fiorini

Mr (PhD) Michele Fiorini pursued his education across universities in Ancona (Italy), Bath (United Kingdom), and Gdańsk (Poland). Currently, he holds the position of Principal Engineer at Leonardo S.p.A. in Rome (Italy), where he offers expertise in maritime surveillance systems for both civil and military purposes. In addition to his role at Leonardo, Dr. Fiorini serves as an Industrial Member at the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA) and represents Italy within the NATO Industrial Advisory Group (NIAG).
His professional affiliations include being a Fellow of the IET (UK), a Senior Member of the IEEE (USA), and holding Chartered Engineer (CEng) status in the UK through the Engineering Council. He is also registered with the Ordine degli Ingegneri of Rome in Italy. Dr. Fiorini’s scholarly contributions extend to numerous peer-reviewed papers, an international patent (EP2601647A1, 2015) and two co-edited volumes for the IET Transportation series: ‘ICT Solutions and Digitalisation in Ports and Shipping’ (2021) and ‘Clean Mobility and Intelligent Transport Systems’ (2015).

Business practitioner with 20 years of experience. Has co-created development strategies,mission, vision, values, goals, ethics or anti-corruption rules for companies. Over the many years of her work, overseen and implemented standards for the world’s most demanding clients. Manager of strategic and operational risks. Has also co- created sustainability and CSR reports. Long-time coach, mentor and trainer. Currently, she is the author of the Happy Work Culture program , a program designed to build and develop a positive organizational culture in companies.

A psychologist by education and vocation, Interim Manager and team leader with many years of experience focused on implementing changes and leading transformation projects. Associated with management and processes in the area of HR for over 16 years, in Polish and international companies of various shapes & sizes. Academic lecturer conducting classes in the field of Human Resources Management at Universities in the Tri-City, including the Gdańsk University of Technology, WSB Merito University and University of Business and Administration. Currently the Head of People at SolveQ and is a Board Member of the Interim Management Foundation (FRIM).

Agnieszka (Aga) Ploska, social innovator and experienced team manager. For years she has been teaching how to design and implement crowdfunding and fundraising campaigns. She has developed and implemented more than 100 projects. Fascinated by assisting others in self-development, team building and projects with social impact. Today she works as Youth Changemaking Manager at Ashoka Poland.

XIII MBA Pitching Session
On May 27, 2022, another important event took place – the annual MBA Pitching Session. This time the 13th MBA edition students presented their Capstone Projects.
