17.05.2024 – Pitching Session – Capstone Project of 15th Cohort!

On May 17, 2024, another edition of the MBA Pitching Session event was held in the Dynatrace Office in Gdańsk. Students of the 15th MBA addition presented their Capstone Projects. The meeting was an opportunity to present their teamwork results to the jury and the audience.

There was an opportunity to:

  • sit on an interactive, sustainable bench,
  • play a game promoting the Agile approach
  • test scar patches
  • check hands sterility with a special scanner
  • admire home-smart crops
  • get a grasp of nuclear energy
  • look at silver hair with optimism

Congratulations to all teams, especially the winners of the best presentation competition:

who presented their project: “Innovative silicone patch for scars”, prepared under the supervision of Sebastian Wilczewski.

A jury of business professionals Michael Leslie, Edyta Gołąb-Andrzejak and Malgorzata Koniuszy, MBA  – meticulously evaluated all teams’ speeches and new brand ideas. The following factors were evaluated: project maturity, proposed business model, market discernment and business value of the teams’ ideas.

The project teams took 5 minutes to convince the jury of their vision, and another 5 minutes were allotted for questions. Significant commitment and passion were evident in all groups. The ideas were very inspiring, and they also touched on critical social issues. The jury recognized the high level of presentation and teams’ creativity, and gave some valuable comments and tips. All the feedback gained will definitely be used in the future.

We would also like to thank Marzena Jamrógiewicz, the author of the patented product covered by the project, for her presence.

Thank you, Ewa Szczepkowska and Michal Bojko from Dynatrace, for the invitation and networking pizza.

We also invited students from the 16th MBA cohort and several participants from the Startup School of the Politechnika Gdańska – it was a good lesson for beginner entrepreneurs.
