Capstone Project Pitching Session – 16th MBA Cohort at the Hapag-Lloyd Knowledge Center

On May 16, 2025, students of the 16th MBA Cohort presented their Capstone Projects during a Pitching Session held at the Hapag-Lloyd Knowledge Center in Gdańsk. This venue was not chosen by chance; it represents a space where technology meets business and academic insight is translated into practical solutions.
Each team had the opportunity to present the results of their months-long collaboration, showcasing innovative ideas and business models to a jury of experts and a public audience. The projects addressed diverse topics, from the cosmetics industry to educational tools and nature-inspired solutions. The session highlighted the creativity, research and entrepreneurial thinking of the cohort.
The jury consisted of Prof. Julita Wasilczuk, Paweł Dobrzański (MBA graduate of the 15th Cohort) and Anna Falbogowska (Director of the Technology Center at Hapag-Lloyd). They assessed each presentation based on the maturity of the concept, market understanding, value proposition and feasibility. The panel emphasized the professional quality of the pitches and the originality of the proposed ideas.
Two teams received special recognition for the quality of their presentations and the potential of their business concepts:
Perfect Day: for the project “Modern Alarm Clock”, developed under the supervision of Prof. Katarzyna Stankiewicz.
Hi5: for their idea of an educational and stimulation app for children on the autism spectrum, guided by Sebastian Wilczewski.
Both teams were invited to present their work at Infoshare and at the Central and Eastern European Entrepreneurship Conference (CEENT), hosted by Gdańsk University of Technology.
We would like to extend our appreciation to Adam Sikorski for hosting the event in the Knowledge Center and to Katarzyna Wojtowicz for facilitating the organizational aspects of the session. We also appreciate the support of students from the 17th MBA Cohort, whose presence contributed to the atmosphere of collaboration and exchange.
