Creative Evening – From Numbers to Narratives

To make smart, data-driven decisions, businesses need to be able to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Data visualization allows for trend and business matrix analysis, identifying patterns and correlations, filtering and transparent data comparison, and finally – drawing valuable conclusions.

In September, we invited MBA students and alumni to participate in the  Creative Evening  “From Numbers to Narratives: Visualizing Company Performance.”

The special guest was Marta Kuc-Czrnecka (https://www.linkedin.com/in/marta-kuc-czarnecka-12593430a/) – FM&E Vice-Dean for Organization of Studies, Dean’s Proxy for AMBA Accreditation, who is an expert in composite indicators, the ethics of quantification, and sustainable development quantification.

Thanks to Marta, we could experience exciting visualization based on a database of enterprises from various industries containing information on their financial situation and activities undertaken for sustainable development.

It was an exceptional Creative Evening – in the lab and at the screens – but with much inspiration and creativity.
