GLOCAL Summer School
The GLOCAL Summer School marked the first week of September at the Faculty of Management and Economics.
“Global Markets, Local Creativities” (GLOCAL) is an international program delivered by a consortium of 7 world-class universities, interrogating global capitalism’s history, theory, institutions and cultures (https://globallocal-erasmusmundus.eu/).
Summer School is an integral part of the GLOCAL program, and this year, the Faculty of Management and Economics hosted 30 GLOGAL students from all over the world. The main topic of the Summer School was Innovation and Technology, and the plan included expert presentations, workshops, company visits and the preparation of a project that concerned the use of technology in achieving important social goals.
The MBA community was also actively involved in organizing the summer school.
Beata Krawczyk-Bryłka, MBA Director delivered a workshop on teamwork, and one of the inspiring speeches was: “Are we ready to collaborate with robots?”. MBA Director was also a member of the jury assessing GLOCAL students’ final projects.
Rafał Cichocki (https://www.linkedin.com/in/rafal-cichocki-0a98b21/), a student of the 16th edition of the MBA program, agreed to be one of the speakers and shared his knowledge and experience in cybersecurity.

We are happy we could inspire young people to act.
We are proud to participate in the project that unites global cooperation to benefit local communities.
