The debut of two MBA PG relays on the 4th Gdańsk Marathon!

Sunday, 15 April, witnessed the exceptional 4th Gdańsk Marathon, an important event for the MBA PG community owing to the participation of its two relay teams. They were accompanied by three teams consisting of employees, alumni and students of the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Gdańsk University of Technology.

On that day, 155 relay teams conquered the royal distance of 42 kilometres and 195 meters. The representatives of the MBA program ranked in the leading positions in their respective categories:
In the women’s category:
Team members: Katarzyna Gwóźdź, Anita Charkot-Kozakiewicz, Ewelina Sasin, Barbara Stepnowska – 14th place
In the men’s category:
Marcin Safranow (x2), Jakub Derek, Piotr Andryszak – 7th place

The participation of two relay teams, composed of students, alumni and employees of the MBA PG program is a testimony of the extraordinary bonds established during the studies and their strengthening after the graduation – and between the participants of various editions on top of it! – says Dr. Barbara Stepnowska.

Although we did not run for the results, I express my sincere congratulations to the men’s relay, for their determination, which placed them in 7th place. I also congratulate the women’s relay for achieving excellent running times, their spontaneity and having fun during the marathon.

As the Director of the Program I am glad that such an initiative was born and it has turned into real actions. It is great that the Program is acquiring the sense of a lasting community. We hope that such initiatives will attract others to pursue similar ones. We invite you to join!
