An entrepreneurial mindset – a visit to Dynatrace

We conducted the second part of the MBA module: “Applying Project and Portfolio Management Methodologies for Business Strategy Execution”, at an international IT company.

During the study visit at Dynatrace, we discussed the organizational culture resulting from the teams’ culture and the need for rapid strategy change, which, combined with critical thinking, allows us to keep up with changes in the market in which we operate.

We learned that the most essential things in engaging employees are:
– purpose (goal),
– solid foundations,
– constant leadership.

Employees must be treated as customers. The role of communication in building organizational culture and implementing change is crucial.

The keys to implementing innovation are:
– space,
– tools,
– people empowerment.

We are happy MBA students who are supposed to be impactful leaders had a chance to experience the spirit of innovations and be triggered to develop an entrepreneurial mindset.
