Cyphers Game – Mobile Showroom of Institute of National Rememberance

On 16th and 17th of December 2022 there was a very unique exhibition on the Campus of GUT. Students and Academics of our University had the opportunity to visit the exhibition prepared by the Institute of National Rememberance. The exhibition was in the form of mobile showroom in which the Cyphers Game was presented. The project was initiated by Gdańsk Tech MBA Students of XIII Cohort.

Cyphers Game is the gaming project which aim is to increase young people’s awareness and interest about the history of Poland. This game is based on the Polish-Bolshevik war and in the mobile showroom every participant had the chance to play the game on PC or in Virtual Reality.

Such a way of presenting history, and other kind of knowledge, to young people is a brilliant idea in the times of digitalization when simple coursbooks are considered outdated. Moreover, the gaming project is based on the current advanced technology what made the exhibition on our University even more valuable. Students of GUT had the chance to see the application of technologies in real life.

We would like to thank Institute of National Rememberance for sharing their gaming project with our University Community and congratulate the innovative approach to promotion of Polish history.

„If you’re on Steam, the game’s yours completely free of charge, so now it’s time to take it bit.ly/3rJyzhD, and enjoy on PC or VR goggles. You won’t be disappointed.„
