MBA Inspirational Safari 2027: Save the Date - And a Look Back at Barcelona

Last October, our MBA Students and Alumni travelled to Barcelona for three days of Inspirational Safari – visiting business schools, health-tech hubs, immersive-technology labs and one of the world’s leading supercomputing centres. In March 2027, the Safari returns. Here’s everything we can share so far.

 

What was the 2025 Inspirational Safari about?

From 6–8 October 2025, our group spent three days exploring how innovation, sustainability and technology shape business and society in Barcelona. Highlights included a session at ESADE Business School on AI in strategic management and prompt engineering, a visit to the Barcelona Health Hub supporting digital-health startups, and an evening at Casa Milà, one of Gaudí’s residential masterpieces. The following days took the group through Barcelona Activa’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, FabLab Barcelona’s digital-fabrication and circular-economy work, and the immersive XR Lab Barcelona. The Safari closed with visits to NTT DATA’s innovation centre, the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre and its MareNostrum supercomputer, and the i2CAT Foundation’s work on 5G/6G and digital society.

When is the next MBA Inspirational Safari?

The next edition takes place from 1-3  March 2027. As always, the Safari brings our Executive International MBA community together for a three-day immersion in a city that has something distinctive to teach about business, innovation and leadership.

 

Where will the 2027 Safari take place?

That’s still to be decided – and this time, our students will have a say. Two destination options will be put forward for XVIII edition students to choose between. We will soon find out the next European destination of MBA Safari – so stay tuned.

 

What should I do now?

 All the details will be revealed soon – but we’re already inviting MBA alumni to join our next expedition and explore Europe’s business ecosystem together. Keep an eye on the MBA website and LinkedIn for updates.
