Strategic Leadership
Strategic leadership is a practice by which managers shape the future of their organizations, constantly striving to adapt to or remain competitive in a changing economic and technological environment.
In this course, we first look at Leadership and Strategy as separate concepts, reframe them into something of practical value in daily work, and then combine again under the overriding theme of Strategic Leadership. In this way, we will explore the critical relationship between Leadership and Strategy in influencing others on matters that enhance the organization’s long-term prospects.
The course is supplemented by two business cases from own managerial experience, so there is plenty of space for interaction and discussion. There are also multiple real-live examples during the lecture, a post-course assignment to complete, and a well-curated list of obligatory/optional reading and self-study materials.
Following this course, you will advance your skills in strategic thinking and in applying those skills in leading the creation and implementation of sustainable, long-term solutions for your businesses and careers.
