Inauguration Ceremony of the XIII MBA GUT cohort!

The inauguration was led by Beata Krawczyk-Bryłka, PhD. The Ceremony was opened by the Gdańsk University of Technology authorities – Rector of GUT – Krzysztof Wilde, Prof. Ph.D., D. S.C., Eng., Corresponding member of the PAS, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Economics – Małgorzata Gawrycka, Ph.D., D. Sc. as well as GUT Professor and MBA Director – Barbara Stepnowska, PhD.
They welcomed all the participants, especially 22 students (chosen from over 140 candidates) of the new XIII MBA cohort, as well as presented the achievements and rankings of the MBA programme and the Faculty of Management and Economics.
The important role during the event had MBA GUT alumni who shared their experiences with MBA GUT Programme.

Among distinguished speakers was a special guest who delivered the inauguration speech: Małgorzata Bieniaszewska – owner of MB Pneumatyka manufacturing company, laureate of BRANDME CEO Forbes 2020. She ended the official part with a power speech titled: “Leader of today and tomorrow”.
“Pay attention for the people, pay attention to the values and pay attention to the fact that hopefully you are going to learn how to be a human centered leader because it is only way you can survive, according to my opinion and also to Stanford whis is much more important than my, but this is the most important thing being human being for the human beings that you have in the company.”
We consider the new MBA programme for the academic years 2020–2022 to be open.

Uroczysta Inauguracja XIII edycji programu MBA Politechniki Gdańskiej!
Nowa edycja, nowi studenci, w nowym środowisku. Pierwsze spotkanie, inspirujące rozmowy i cenna lekcja o przywództwie. Oto przebieg ceremonii inauguracji Programu International MBA prowadzonego przy Wydziale Zarządzania i Ekonomii PG!
W dniu 4 grudnia 2020 r. formie wirtualnej odbyła się w inauguracja roku akademickiego dla XIII edycji programu International MBA in Strategy, Programme and Project Management. Obecni byli przedstawiciele władz uczelni, wykładowcy, członkowie rady programowej MBA, studenci oraz absolwenci.
Uroczystość poprowadziła dr. Beata Krawczyk-Bryłka (wykładowca programu MBA oraz adiunkt WZiE PG). Nowy rok akademicki oficjalnie otworzyły władze Politechniki Gdańskiej – Rektor PG – prof. dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Wilde, czł. koresp. PAN, Dziekan Wydziału Zarządzania i Ekonomii PG – dr hab. Małgorzata Gawrycka, profesor PG oraz Dyrektor Programu International MBA – dr Barbara Stepnowska.
Nowa edycja liczy 22 studentów (wybrani spośród ponad 140 kandydatów), wśród których są osoby różnych narodowości: Brazylii, Malezji, Hiszpanii czy Ukrainy. Zajęcia odbywają się w większości z wykładowcami i ekspertami zagranicznymi. Program w całość prowadzony jest w języku angielskim i jest przeznaczony dla osób z min. 3 letnim doświadczeniem na stanowisku kierowniczym. Średnia doświadczenia menedżerskiego wśród uczestników XIII edycji wynosi 11 lat.
Wśród znamienitych gości znaleźli się również absolwenci programu MBA PG: dr inż. Michele Fiorini (Włochy), Karolina Supińska (Polska) oraz Matheus Trevizoli Barrachi (Brazylia). Absolwenci podzielili się swoimi doświadczeniami z czasów studiowania, przedstawili swoje losy zawodowe po uzyskaniu dyplomu oraz przekazali wskazówki jak najlepiej wykorzystać czas i możliwości, które daje nie tylko samo studiowanie na MBA Politechniki Gdańskiej, ale również wiedzę i doświadczenie współuczestników.
Prelegentem wykładu inauguracyjnego pt.: „Liderzy dzisiaj i jutra” była Małgorzata Bieniaszewska – właścicielka firmy produkcyjnej MB Pneumatyka, laureatka nagrody BRANDME CEO Forbes 2020.
„Zwracaj uwagę na ludzi, zwracaj uwagę na wartości i zwracaj uwagę na fakt, że – miejmy nadzieję – nauczysz się być liderem skoncentrowanym na człowieku, ponieważ jest to jedyny sposób na przetrwanie, to jest najważniejsza rzecz, aby być człowiekiem dla ludzi, których masz w firmie” – zakończyła wykład Małgorzata Bieniaszewska.
