MBA PG relay team on the 5th Gdańsk Marathon!

Sunday, 14 April, witnessed the exceptional 5th Gdańsk Marathon, for the second time in a history with participation of the MBA PG community relay team. They were accompanied by four teams consisting of professors, employees, alumni and students of the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Gdańsk University of Technology.

On that day, exceptionally 215 relay teams conquered the royal distance of 42 kilometres and 195 meters. The representatives of the MBA programme ranked in the leading positions in their category – Company’s Relay Mixed.

Team MBA PG members: Safranow Marcin, Stepnowska Barbara, Andryszak Piotr, Kaszkur Joanna – time: 03:27:12, 9th place!

In the marathon took part also MBA lecturers –Katarzyna Stankiewicz, PhD, Paweł Ziemiański, PhD and MBA staff member – Paweł Jacewicz representing Faculty’s relay. Their relays were ranked on 7th place in Women’s Relay category and on 6th place in the Men’s Relay category.

The participation of students, alumni and employees of the MBA PG programme is a testimony of the extraordinary bonds established during the studies and their strengthening after the graduation, even and between students of various editions! I am glad that also in this year running initiative has turned into reality. It is great that the Programme is acquiring the sense of a lasting community.
