Pitching Session 2023

On May 19, 2023, another edition of the MBA Pitching Session event was held in DAMEN Office in Gdańsk. Students of the 14th MBA addition presented their Capstone Projects. The meeting was an opportunity to present their teamwork results to the jury and the audience.

A jury of business professionals  (Ewa Lechman, Robert Nowak and Jakub Małaj – meticulously evaluated all teams’ speeches and new brand ideas. The following factors were evaluated: project maturity, proposed business model, market discernment and business value of the teams’ ideas. The project teams took 5 minutes to convince the jury of their vision, and another 5 minutes were allotted for questions. Significant commitment and passion were evident in all groups. The ideas were very inspiring, and they also touched on critical social issues. The jury recognized the high level of presentation and teams’ creativity, and gave some valuable comments and tips. All the feedback gained will definitely be used in the future.

Eight teams presented their business projects at the Pitching Session at their best, but only two won  an honourable mention and awards:

• Prevnting and Handling Burnout, the team: Agnieszka Nieznańska, Thomas Leyens, Agnieszka Roman i Łukasz Winiarek).
• Winefest.pl , team: Maja Dekic, Daniel Kochański, Marie Ange Dusingize, Jacek Szopiński i Aleksander Rak

Thanks to Marcin Czugan, who is MBA Gdańsk Tech alumnus, one of the awards was the invitation to Kongres Sektora Fintech which was organized by the Association of Financial Companies in Poland.

The other award is the invitation to Demo Day Gdańsk Tech organized by Gdańsk University of Technology Startup-School.
