We Bid Farewell to Mayor Paweł Adamowicz

Sometimes life writes scenarios which leave us speechless.

As a part of Gdańsk we express our solidarity with the City. On behalf of the entire Gdańsk University of Technology academic community I would like to give my deepest condolences to Mr. Mayor’s friends and family, as well as to all citizens of Gdańsk.

Paweł Adamowicz was a person for whom the care for our city was of the greatest value. He passed suddenly, unable to complete multiple plans, including these carried out with Gdańsk University of Technology and the local scientific community.

All parties organizing events at GUT from now until the day of the funeral are kindly asked to postpone them.
