The „Effective Business Communication” module for the 10th edition of MBA studies at Gdańsk University of Technology took place in January 2019. Participants were immersed in a three-day experience during which topics related to traditional and innovative approaches to communication were presented and skills allowing building engagement, influencing, discovering others’ perspective and facilitating collaboration were practiced. The main emphasis was placed on challenges of communicating across borders and across individual differences. The module was facilitated by two instructors: Bob Dignen, a consultant and coach from York (United Kingdom), and Paweł Ziemiański, Ph.D. from Gdańsk University of Technology (Poland). Participants engagement and their willingness to share knowledge and experience made it possible to achieve module’s goals, expand current professional networks and develop solutions to crucial communication challenges.
